● About

Why The Braemars?

For over 60 years, Braemar Highland Dancers has been a place where tradition, community, and a love of dance come together. Established in 1962, our school has continued to share the beauty and discipline of Scottish Highland dance with generations of dancers.

We believe Highland dance is about more than learning steps. It’s about building confidence, making lifelong friendships, and finding joy in something you can carry with you for years to come. Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or working toward your next competition, there’s a place for you at Braemar.

A tradition worth dancing into the future.

● Our Story

Meet Victoria

Victoria Swann’s Highland dance journey began at Braemar in 2005. After years of dancing, learning, and growing within the school, she became its Director in 2024.

Victoria has been certified by the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance in Highland dance since 2011 and holds both her CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 certifications. Her experience as a dancer, teacher, and coach shapes her approach to helping students build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the journey.

As a former Braemar dancer herself, Victoria is passionate about continuing the school’s traditions while creating a welcoming environment for the next generation of dancers.

From dancer to director, Victoria is proud to be carrying the Braemar tradition forward.
